Floating Above: Card of the week, 14th October, 2013

Another in the group of “decks I wouldn’t get on my own” is this sweet, childlike  deck by Sonia Choquette called “THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE ORACLE DECK”  (more on that at the end of this post).      This card really caused me to sit up and take notice given several situations in my sphere lately  where friends and family  face embroilments with dramas, spats with buyers, work-loads added on to their already heaped plates and imbroglios with family members.

The “it”  varies for all of us;  whether it’s an argument that is sapping strength and leading nowhere, an unsolvable conundrum, extra-hours you’ve put in for a project you’re not receiving reward for, or even doubt and impatience that might be distracting you from your path.     This card says,  DROP IT.

This card doesn’t suggest throwing people away (an ego substitution for connecting and understanding)  or tossing your day-job, but it DOES invite you to drop whatever thought, belief or story that is heavy ballast for your high-rising balloon.     Allow yourself to let dead-weight go and to rise up to the heights you deserve to be at.         Some situation needs release.   Perhaps you’ve taken responsibility for some friend who is in harm’s way who is not ready (or able) to help themselves, or perhaps you’ve taken on responsibilities for someone else’s path.    It’s time to let go and to drop what is holding you back from seeing the truth of the situation.    It’s time to stop participating in the “war”  or the “fight”   (whatever that is for you)  and choose an easier, lighter way of being this week.

Not only do you deserve peace, you deserve to have your balloon rise above anything slogging along and float you into friendlier, brighter, skies.

About this deck:   *about the deck:   Sonia Choquette’s  “THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE ORACLE” cards (charmingly illustrated by ??? unknown) published by Hay House  has  62 cards.   These are very “cute” cards and messages that have a childlike quality and feel and would be wonderful for kids and kids-at-heart.
